About Us
Our Story
The Low Desert Roadrunners have been exploring Southern California on foot since 1984. We are a Volkswalking club affiliated with the American Volkssport Association (AVA Club #0157) and the California Volkssport Association (CA5).
What is Volkswalking?
Volkswalking is organized, non-competitive walking that originated in Europe. Participants walk pre-measured routes through scenic areas at their own pace.

American Volkssport Association
We're a member club of the AVA, the national governing body for volkssporting in the United States. AVA membership unlocks IVV passport recording at all member-club walks across the country.
